I have 12 years of experience working in elementary and middle schools. I have worked as a paraprofessional for 6 years in Early Childhood grades 3P-1st grade. I have also had 2 years in Title I in grades 2nd and 3rd. I have built and maintained relationships with students and families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I have attended and continue to attend educational seminars and training for not only my professional development but also my own personal and spiritual growth as well. I student taught in La Crosse, WI. I subbed in La Crosse public schools as well as Aquinas Catholic Schools this past year and was a long term substitute at Cathedral this last fall.
Inspiration to Teach:
I have so many reasons why I am inspired to teach. I am reminded of these on a daily basis in the classroom as well as our community. There is nothing better than having my students realize they’re stronger and smarter than they ever thought possible.
Teaching at Aquinas:
I look forward to teaching at Aquinas Catholic Schools. I will be able to integrate the Catholic faith into every subject during the school day.
